Most canvassing apps track where your crew went. DoorKnock makes them better while they’re out there.
Every door gets recorded and scored against your pitch — not a generic one. Reps see the exact moment the conversation turned and the line that would have saved it. Monday morning, the playbook rewrites itself off your best closer’s real words.
Free while we’re in beta, in exchange for straight feedback from crews actually running doors. Open to every state except Tennessee — home turf stays off the table.

She said: “We already had a guy look at it.”
Say this instead“Good — then you already know it took damage. I’m not asking you to switch anybody. I’m asking whether his report listed the soft metals, because that’s what the adjuster pays on.”
You already know
what’s wrong.
He says he knocked the whole street.
You have no way to check. The pins say one thing, the neighborhood says another, and by the time you find out, the storm is three weeks cold.
Your new guy quits in week two.
He got the door shut on him forty times, nobody could tell him what to say differently, and Friday he stopped answering the phone. You hire another one and run it back.
Nobody knows which pitch actually works.
Your best closer has a way of handling “we already got a guy.” It lives in his head. When he leaves, it leaves with him.
None of that is a tracking problem. Your crew’s dots on a map have never closed a deal. It’s a coaching problem — and it happens at the door, where no manager is standing.
Know the door was actually knocked.
A knock only saves if the phone is within 200 feet of that house. The check runs on the server, not the phone, so it can’t be faked from a couch or a truck seat at the end of the block.
- Dispositions that match the jobNot Home, Do Not Knock, Come Back Later, Appointment Set, New Lead, Sold. Photos and callbacks on the same screen.
- Notes the whole team can seeThe next rep on that street knows the dog, the husband who handles it, and the day to come back.
- No double-knockingThe app warns a rep before he walks up to a door somebody hit last week or a house marked Do Not Knock.
- Time clock that runs itselfFirst knock clocks him in. Going idle clocks him out. Nobody is filling in a timesheet from memory on Sunday night.

Knocked 6 days ago by Dee R. — “Wife said come back when he’s home, after 6.”
Your best closer, standing behind every rep.
The app records the conversation at the door and transcribes it. Then it scores that conversation section by section against the pitch structure you defined — your opening, your discovery, your objection handling, your close. Not a generic sales rubric off the internet.
- Named, not vagueIt counts the filler words, marks the second the conversation turned, and writes the line he should have used.
- SparringNew hires practice out loud against an AI homeowner that talks back and throws real objections. They learn on fake doors instead of your streets.
- The playbook rewrites itselfEvery Monday the AI mines the week’s best real conversations and rebuilds your rebuttals out of the top closer’s actual winning lines, credited to him by name.
- Reps watch themselves improveTheir own scores, a full coaching page, and a chart that goes up. That is what keeps a twenty-two-year-old from quitting in week two.

“Everybody says free. Then I’ve got a claim on my record.”
You conceded the objection instead of separating it. She is afraid of the claim, not the inspection. Split the two: “An inspection isn’t a claim. Nothing gets filed unless there’s enough damage that it’s worth filing — and if there isn’t, I’ll tell you that and leave.”

Five years of NOAA hail and wind data drawn straight on the map, with hot zones ranked by where the claim window is still open. Old hail on a roof nobody can file on is just a long walk.

- Today’s PlanThe app scores the area overnight and hands the crew ranked zones in the morning, weighing fresh hail against how hard each street has already been worked.
- Retail mode when it’s quietNo recent storms, it flips over and steers the crew to rested streets and fresh ground instead of the same neighborhood everybody has hit a hundred times.

She opens it on her phone standing in the doorway. No login, no account, nothing to install. Just the hail history at her own address, with your name on the page.
Turn a knock into a signed contract.
The canvasser books it and keeps walking. The appointment lands on a closer instantly — either the guy you preset or whoever is physically nearest — with the homeowner’s name, phone, address and notes already on it.
- Storm ProofFrom the porch, the rep texts the homeowner a branded page showing the hail history at that exact address. She doesn’t log in to anything. She just sees it.
- Money traced to the doorLog whether the appointment sat, no-showed or signed, plus the contract amount. Every dollar traces back to a house and the rep who knocked it.
- Mission ControlA live map for the TV in the office. Crew dots moving, every knock landing as it happens, today’s numbers ticking.
- Leaderboard and recapRep profiles, a leaderboard your crew will argue about, and a nightly recap email with the day’s recordings attached.
Thu 6:30 PM — Whitfield
“Adjuster comes Thursday morning. Wants somebody there when he walks it. Detached garage took the worst of it.”
He can see what he’s made today. That’s the whole trick.
Set a pay rate per rep and the number moves on its own. Every knock, every appointment, every signed contract pushes it up while he is still standing in the driveway.
A canvasser three hours in, tired, looking at the next cul-de-sac, does not do the math in his head. He quits. Put the number on his phone and he does two more streets, because he can watch it move.
- Per-rep ratesHourly, per knock, per appointment set, per deal signed, or any mix. Set it once per rep and let it run.
- Moves as he worksNo waiting on Friday to find out. The counter updates with the knock, on the same screen he is already looking at.
- Traced back to the doorBecause pay is tied to real GPS-verified knocks and real signed contracts, the number he sees is the number you owe. There is nothing to reconcile.

Open the appBuilt by somebody who knocked.
I spent years at one of the bigger roofing companies in middle Tennessee. Not in the office. On the doors, and then over the people on the doors.
Every canvassing app we ever paid for told me where my guys stood. Not one of them told me what they said. I could look at sixty pins on a street and one appointment and have no idea what went wrong, because the part that decided it happened on a porch with nobody listening.
So I built the thing I wanted back then. It records the door, grades the conversation against the pitch you actually sell with, and hands the rep the line he should have used. Everything else in here exists to support that.
I am not a software company. I am somebody who knocked a lot of doors and got tired of guessing.

We want crews actually running doors with it, and we want them to tell us what is broken. That is the whole trade. No card, no contract, no call you have to sit through first.
-
Free
No price during beta. Pricing comes later, in tiers, and you will hear about it before anything changes.
-
Trade
We want the feedback. Tell us what your crew ignored and what broke in the rain. That is what we are paying for.

Not TN
No roofing companies based in Tennessee. Middle Tennessee is home, and it stays off the table during beta. Everywhere else in the US is open.

Setup is a company name and a join code. Text the code to your crew and they are logging doors the same afternoon.
Questions we get
on the first call.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Both, same link. DoorKnock runs in the phone’s browser and installs to the home screen in two taps, so it sits there like any other app. No app store listing, nothing to download, no company Apple ID. Your new hire is running doors on day one instead of waiting on somebody in the office.
Can my competitors see my data?
No. Every company gets its own join code and its own walled-off data. Knocks, notes, recordings, scores, pay rates and your pitch structure are visible only inside your company. Another roofer on DoorKnock cannot see your streets, and you cannot see his.
Does it work with my CRM?
Yes. Appointments and sales push into JobNimbus, AccuLynx, Roofr, Leap or anything else you run, through a webhook or Zapier. DoorKnock owns the door. Your CRM keeps owning the job. Nobody has to double-enter anything.
How long does setup take?
About five minutes. Create the company, get a join code, text it to the crew. Loading in your own pitch structure — so the AI grades against your process instead of a generic one — takes another few minutes, and you can change it any time.
What does it cost?
Nothing during beta. It is free while crews are running it in the field, in exchange for honest feedback. Paid tiers come later and will be announced before anything changes.
Do we have to record every conversation?
No. Recording is a setting, and a rep can turn it off at the door. Recording laws vary by state — where all-party consent is required, the rep announces it, and the app reminds him to. Coaching is the reason most crews leave it on, but it is your call, not ours.
Put it on one crew
this week.
Free during beta. Five minutes to set up. If your guys hate it, you have lost an afternoon — and we would still like to hear why.
